Speech to Text

Speech to Text is an option to allow a chromebook to convert speech to text. To turn on "enable dictation" function on a Chromebook, click on the clock area of the Chromebook in the lower right corner, then click the cog (settings) icon. On the far left side of the screen you'll see the "Advanced" settings, when you open "Advanced", go to where it says "Accessibility Features" and then slide the bar to "always show". Next you'll want to click on "Manage access" under the section labeled "Keyboard & text input, and then finally slide to "enable dictation".
