Update my Chromebook
Look for Updates (Chromebook or Chrome Browser) [link to resource]
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More 
.
Click Help 
About Chrome OS or About Google Chrome.

If needed click Check for Updates (sometimes it will automatically begin checking).*
NOTE: If you get an error go to https://www.google.com/chrome/ and try installing Chrome.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
Reboot the Device whether it found an update or not.
* There may be multiple updates that need to be done. After restarting your chromebook, check for updates again to make sure all of them have been installed. You will need to SHUTDOWN and reboot before resuming regular chromebook activity.
